Evolved Solutions was established to cater for a gap in the evolving decom sector for advisory support from highly experienced, high performers and strategic thinkers, from a position of independence and unbiased view.

Andy Clucas

30 years’ experience in Oil & Gas. Chartered Engineer, holding various strategic & Project Management roles for major brownfield & decommissioning projects with a proven track record of exceptional performance.

Responsible for Decommissioning delivery and upscaling in 2 off Major Tier 1 Contractors, Specialist Decom provider, consultancy and Operator (BG Group), with successful and  rapid upscaling, growth and subsequent delivery.

International Decom experience over the North sea, The Gulf of Thailand, India, The Irish Sea, Trinidad, Brazil, Australia etc.

An enthusiast for (what was) the new challenge of decommissioning, with various Decom project involvements over a 15 year period, for example:- Manager for various liability estimates and deep dives, front end Manager of BP Miller topside facilities,  BG Group Decom Manager for Central north portfolio in front end, Execution Senior PM for CNR Murchison and in a Strategic BD manager for NW Hutton, Brent, Murchison etc.

Tom Leeson - Well P&A Associate

Tom worked in Oman, Netherlands and UKCS in Well Services for Shell after graduating with a B.Sc. and Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He then held a number of roles managing business development and engineering teams for a number of service companies focused on well intervention, production enhancement, and increasingly from 2003 onwards in abandonment engineering and operations. After a strategic global role for a major contractor in this sector, Tom has worked for many years as a consultant in the abandonment sector, engineering over 1100 abandonment designs across more than 12 countries. Responsibilities have including developing Regulatory guidelines, delivering training for SPE and industry regulators, cost estimation, and strategy development for both Operators and Service Companies. More recently his scope of responsibilities has broadened into the other aspects of decommissioning where he has developed Operator strategies for regulatory engagement, engineering planning, data collection and cost minimisation. He was a Board member of the industry body Decom North Sea for 6 years until 2017 and then held the position of CEO for a period leading the development and launch of their strategic Decommissioning Leadership Group.

Over the years Tom has mentored a number of engineers who have gone on to deliver excellent results on projects around the world, and he puts this approach to good use in the community by coaching track and field athletes including a number of international representatives.
